Two containers designed to hold water are side by side both in shape of a cylinder. Container A has a radius of 5 feet and a height of 16 feet. Container B has a radius of 4 feet and a height of 20 feet. Container A is filled with water and the water is pumped to container B until container B is completely full.

i think the answer is (32.8%)

Explanation:

Container A:

Diameter = 30 feet

Radius = diameter/2 = 30/2

= 15 feet

Height = 16 feet

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

= 3.14 * 15² * 16

= 3.14 * 225 * 16

= 11,304 feet ³

Container B:

Diameter = 22 feet

Radius = diameter / 2

= 22/2 = 11 feet

Height = 20 feet

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

= 3.14 * 11² * 20

= 3.14 * 121 * 20

= 7598.8 feet ³

what is the percent of Container A that is full after the pumping is complete?

Container A - container B

= 11,304 feet ³ - 7598.8 feet ³

= 3,705.2 feet ³

percent of Container A that is full after the pumping is complete = 3,705.2/11,304 × 100

= 0.328 × 100

= 32.8%

i hope this work for you
