Ka is also known as Acid dissociation constant. It is the equilibrium constant of the dissociation reaction of an acid and is denoted by Ka.

Ka is a measure of acid strength. A larger equilibrium constant means that the reaction has a greater tendency to drive towards the products side ( more H2O- and A- Less HA). Another way of saying this is that the acid has a stronger tendency to donate it's H+ which is the definition of a stronger acid.
