The adjascent side of angle 118, let it be y

118 + y = 180( angle on a straight line)

y = 180 - 118

y = 62°

The triangle is an isosceles triangle, there the adjascent angle of 2 is

180 - (62+62)

= 56°

therefore;

angle 2 + 56 = 180

angle 2 = 12x +4

12x + 4 = 180 - 56

12x = 124 - 4

12x = 120

x = 120/12

x = 10

Therefore the value of x is 10
