THe equation given is in vertex form so it will be easy to find the vertex

(x-5)^2+1

Vertex is at h,k and vertex form is y = a(x−h)^2 + k

x coordinate will be 5

y coordinate will be 1

vertex - (5, 1)

You can plot a second point by plugging in any number into the x or y

For example, if you set x to be 4,

(4-5)^2+1

1^2+1

1+1=2
