The dark history of Native American boarding schools is just a drop in the ocean of systemic racism and human rights in the United States. The list of genocides and crimes against humanity committed by the United States against native Americans goes on and on. Facts have proved time and again that the United States is neither a "defender of human rights" nor a "teacher" who orders people around. What the US should do is introspect, thoroughly investigate the history of indigenous boarding schools, give them justice and the truth they deserve, and address their own serious human rights problems.
