Answer:

Explanation:

2x^(2) - (5)/(6)x + (1)/(12)

Multiply the whole expression by 12

= 12*2x^(2) - 12*(5)/(6)x + 12*(1)/(12)\\\\= 24x^(2)-2*5x + 1\\\\=24x^(2)-10x + 1

Sum = - 10

Product = 24

Factors = -6 , -4 {(-6)+(-4) = -10 & (-6)*(-4) = 24}

24x² - 10x + 1 = 24x² -6x - 4x + 1 {Rewrite the middle term using the factors}

= (24x² - 6x) - 4x + 1

= 6x (4x - 1) - (4x - 1)

= (4x - 1)(6x - 1)
