Answer:

D. 5x^4+x^3-1

I am going to assume that you made a mistake in copying the sum.

If you put it in 100% correctly, the question wouldn't make sense.

(4x^4-x^2-x)+(x^4+x^3+x^2-1)

Solve, and you get D.
5x^4+x^3-1

I hope this helps!

Answer choices:

A.5x^4+2x^4-1 \\B.5x^4+2x^4+2x^2-1\\C.5x^4+x^4+2x^2-1\\D.5x^4+x^3-1
