  • (10,8)
  • (7,14)

Slope:-

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail m=(14-8)/(7-10)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail m=(-6)/(-3)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail m=2

Answer:

The line passes through the given points are ( 10,8) & (7,14)

here

x₁ = 10

y₁ = 8

x₂ = 7

y₂ = 14

We have been asked to slope of that line which passes through the given points .

Using Formulae

\bf \: m \: = (y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1))

Put the given value we obtain

\sf \dashrightarrow \: m \: = (14 - 8)/(7 - 10) \\ \\ \sf \dashrightarrow \: m \: = (6)/( - 3) \\ \\ \sf \dashrightarrow \: m \: = ( - 2)/(1) \\ \\ \sf \dashrightarrow \: m \: = - 2

So, the slope of that line is -2 .
