In rectangle

Area:-

  • Length ×Breadth
  • 8(4)
  • 32units^2

In semicircle

  • Radius=4/2=2

Area:-

  • πr^2/2
  • 2π=6.28units^2

Total area=

  • 32-6.28
  • 25.72units^2

Answer:

Explanation:

the rectangle's area is simply: A = 4 x 8 = 32

the circle's area is : π x 2 x 2 so A = 4π

the half circle's area is : 4π / 2 = 2π

And the final area is A = 32 - 2π = 2 x (16-π)
