Find the ratio of the k own sides: 10 inches and 18 inches

18/10= 1.8

The larger shape is 1.8 times larger than the smaller shape. Multiply the dimension of the smaller shape by 1.8:

15 x 1.8 = 27

X = 27 inches

Answer:

27 inches

Explanation:

We can use a ratio to solve

10 15

---- = ----

18 x

Using cross products

10x = 15*18

10x=270

Divide each side by 10

10x/10 = 270/10

x = 27
