Answer:

Mean = Sum of all numbers divided by the amount of numbers

Mean/Average=(3+1+1.5+1.25+2.25+4+1+2)/(8) =(16)/(8) =2

Median = the middle number when the ordered from least to greatest.

  • From least to greatest:
    1, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 2, 2.25, 3, 4
  • The two middle numbers are 1.5 and 2.

If there are two middle numbers, find the mean/average of those numbers:

(1.5+2)/(2) =(3.5)/(2) =1.75

Therefore, the answer would be:

  • Mean = 2
  • Median = 1.75
