Since all the sides of a square are equal, we can figure out the length of one of them by looking at the area.

The area of the square is 25 square inches.

The formula to find the area is length times width or l · w

Since all of the sides have to be equal, we just have to find a number that can be multiplied by itself to get 25.

Well, 5 can be multiplied by itself to get 25.

5 x 5 = 25

So, the length of one of the sides would be 5 inches.

5 in ( yellow) because 50 inches is to much and if 50 is big then the rest are big too.
