Answer:

Explanation:

a^(m)* a^(n)=a^(m+n)\\\\\\((-1)/(2))^(-19)*((-1)/(2))^(8)=((-1)/(2))^(-2x +1)\\\\((-1)/(2))^(-19+8)=((-1)/(2))^(-2x+1)\\\\\\((-1)/(2))^(-11)=((-1)/(2))^(-2x+1)

As bases are equal in boht sides, we can compare the exponents.

-2x + 1 = -11

Subtract 1 form both sides

-2x = -11 - 1

-2x = -12

Divide both sides by -2

x = -12/-2

x = 6
