Yes I do support this statement because medical science is very advanced and complex .

Step-by-step explanation:

The field of medicine is very broad and varies because of the following reasons:

It bears high risk as it is related with the human life.

Chemist has to undergo various research related to medicine before introduced in the market.

Since the medicine is related with the treatment of diseases, international pharmaceutical companies are involved for these purposes.

Answer:

I do support this statement.

Step-by-step explanation:

My reason to this statement is, because I watched Grey's Anatomy AND my family is in the medical field which is why that is also my future. So from that, the basics are that of course you have to know your stuff like how to handle an OR, how to diagnosis your patient correctly, use different strategies for your operation. How to do a Whipple procedure known as a pancreaticoduodenectomy, if you want to be a Cardiothoracic surgeon.

My points are.

1. Even the best surgeons get personally involved like, paying for their patients surgery, giving them free antibiotics. (When they are not suppose to)

2. You can get sued by your patients if you mess up or even for something that they didn't think should have happened and blame you even though it was a high risk of happening and technically no one is at fault.

3. Some people choose their job over making a family and that is ok, people might get mad at them for not making time for love and family but some people invest themselves so much for what they love they just don't want to make a family or sadly don't have time. Any medical specialty needs your full attention even if you are busy with your family.

4. Sometimes you have to risk it, if your patient needs emergency surgery and all of a sudden you have a choice to close up and put them on a machine or risk it and keep going. If they keep going the risk of the patient of dying is very high and the patient surviving is very low. But being put on a machine is very similar to the other choice. The chance of them waking up is very low and the staff and attendings would recommend to let them rest in peace.

5. Have patience, patients will freak out from their options of survival and treatment and they would probably try and correct you and bash you. It's one of the hardest things to do if you are in the medical field. You usually can't speak your mind unless they ask you. You have to make them feel like they are right in every possible way because the patient ALWAYS comes first.
