Answer: 11.6

sin(angle) = opposite/hypotenuse

sin(29) = x/24

24*sin(29) = x

x = 24*sin(29) ..... exact value

x = 11.635430885912 .... approximate value

x = 11.6

To get the approximate value, you'll need a calculator. Make sure the calculator is in degree mode.
