since if its like ummm i think it was called parallel? then it would be the same as 85o but to find it we have to do algebra soooo

2x + 1 = 85 (you dont have to include the o)

2x = 84

x = 42

Explanation:

Here, (2x + 1) and 85° are vertically opposite angles which are equal,

therefore,

=> 2x + 1 = 85°

=> 2x = 85 - 1

=> 2x = 84

=> x = 84/2

=> x = 42°
