Subtract to find the amount of the increase then divide the amount of increase by the original amount:

2.46 - 2.22 = 0.24

0.24/2.22 = 0.108

Multiply by 100 to get percent:

0.108 x 100 = 10.8%

Rounded to nearest whole number = 11%
