Please help me out with how to solve this

In a math class, one of your 4 test scores is dropped. On the first three tests, you have the following scores: 79, 34, and 95. What score do you need on the next test for your average to be 75 (assuming you drop the lowest test score)?

Answer:

51

Explanation:

Your score total must be 3×75 = 225. Subtracting the two high scores gives ...

225 -95 -79 = 51

__

The score of 34 is below that value, so it is the one that will be dropped.

You need a test score of 51 on the next test for your average to be 75.
