Given:

On a unit circle, the terminal point of θ is
\left((√(2))/(2),(√(2))/(2)\right).

To find:

The value of
\theta.

Solution:

If the terminal point of θ is (x,y), then

\tan \theta=(y)/(x)

On a unit circle, the terminal point of θ is
\left((√(2))/(2),(√(2))/(2)\right). So,

\tan \theta=((√(2))/(2))/((√(2))/(2))

\tan \theta=1

\tan \theta=\tan (\pi)/(4)

\theta=(\pi)/(4)

Therefore, the correct option is D.
