What is the image of ( 4, -8 ) after a dilation by a scale factor of 1/4 centered at the origin ?

what we know?:

* scale factor of 1/4

* the point (4, -8)

all we have to do is put 4/4 (because we are dilating by 1/4)

4/4= 1

same for the other one: -8/4= -2

FINAL ANSWER: (1, -2)
