y = 3/2x -6

Explanation:

Slope intercept form of a line is

y = mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

y = 3/2x+b

Substitute the point into the equation

3 = 3/2(6)+b

3 = 9+b

Subtract 9 from each side

3-9 = 9+b-9

-6 = b

y = 3/2x -6
