Answer:
When I hear the phrase "Musical Culture" I think of broadway musicals and the culture music (not just broadway musicals) has created for its listeners. Different music has different meanings to everyone just like the song "kitchen sink" by Twenty øne piløts. It means something different to everyone in the fandom, the song states "A kitchen sink to you isn't sink to me. Okay, friend?". Fandoms, in my opinion also relate to musical culture, depending on what fandom you're in. If you're a Panic! At the Disco fan you are a "sinner", if you are a Fall Out Boy fan you are a Youngblood (depending on who you ask "car crash hearts", "overcast kids" and "believers"). Fun Fact if you are a fan of the killers you are a victim. But if we are talking about musical musicals like Hamilton, Newsies and Heathers then usually that is a tight knit group of actors and actresses that sing and dance their hearts out on stage and people come from miles to come and see them preform. And they influence their fandom as well.
