In the given triangle ABC shown in the figure ∠ABC = ∠ACB

Since angles are equal so opposite sides of equal angles will be equal.

Now mAB = mAC

By putting values in terms of x

2x = 3x - 7

x = 7

Now mAC = 3x - 7

By putting value of x = 7

mAC = 3×7 - 7 = 21 - 7 = 14

Therefore length of line segment AC is 14 units.
