hyp²=opp²+ adj²

15²=x² + 8²

225=x² + 64

x²=225 - 64

x²= 161

x=12.7

OR

sin ø= 8/15

sin ø=0.53333333

ø=sin(inverse) of 0.53333333

ø=0.563⁰

therefore angle opposite 8 is 0.563

tan 0.563= 8/x

x tan 0.563=8

x= 8/tan 0.563

x= 12.7
