x=2

y=−1

Explanation:

You can multiply the second equation by 3:

{2x-3y=7

{9x+3y=15 add the two together (in columns):

11x+0=22

so that x=22/11=2

substitute this back into the first equation:

2*2-3y=7

y=-1
