We know the figure is rhombus ; therefore all sides are equal !

Part one :-

To find value of y

→y - 3 = 25

→y = 25 + 3

→y = 28

Part two:-

To find value of x

→2x + 3 = 25

→2x = 25 - 3

→2x = 22

→x = 22/2

→x = (11 × 2)/2

→x = 11/1

→x = 11

Part three:-

To find value of z.

→8z + 9 = 25

→8z = 25 - 9

→8z = 16

→8z = 16/8

→z =(8 × 2)/8

→z = 2/1

→z = 2

  • All sides of rhombus are equal

  • Sum of interior angles of rhombus is equal to 360° .

  • Opposite angles of rhombus are equal

  • Sum of adjacent angle are 180°.

Formulas related to rhombus :-

Area

  • Area = (diagonal 1 × diagonal 2)/2
  • Area = Base × Height

Perimeter

  • Perimeter = 4 × sides

With a rhombus all 4 sides are the same length.


since one side is given as 25 we know the other 3 sides must also equal 25.

8z + 9 = 25

8z = 16

Z = 2


y-3 = 25

Y = 28


2x + 3 = 25

2x = 22

X = 11


answer: x = 11, y = 28 and z = 2
