Answer:

Infectious diseases: are transmitted from person-to-person through the transfer of a pathogen such as bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites. e.g Flu, HIV/AIDS, Chickenpox, Diphtheria.

Non-infectious disease: cannot be transmitted through a pathogen and is caused by a variety of other circumstantial factors. e.g Cancer, Alzheimers, Epilepsy, Asthma.
