What is the value of the expression? when y=6 and z=2

3y−z/y+5z

Given:

y = 6

z = 2

To find:

value of expression 3y - z/y + 5z or (3y-z)/(y+5z)

Steps:

substituting the values we get,

3(6)-2/6 + 5(2)

= 18 - 1/3 + 10

= 27 + 2/3

since thats not there in the options i will try the 2nd one, (next time when writing question pls put brackets to signify if we to divide 2 numbers by and number


(3(6)-2)/(6+5(2))


=(18 - 2)/(6 + 10)


= (16)/(16)


= 1

Therefore, the answer is option A) 1
