Perimeter=Sum of three sides

Perimeter:-

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 0.3x+24+5x+0.2x-15

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 5.5x+24-15

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 5.5x+9

Solution:

The perimeter of the triangle is basically the sum of its sides.

\rightarrow P = (0.3x + 24) + (5x) + (0.2x - 15)

Open the parenthesis:

\rightarrow P = 0.3x + 24 + 5x + 0.2x - 15

Combine like terms:

\rightarrow P = x(0.3 + 0.2 + 5) + (24 - 15)

Simplify the equation:

\rightarrow P = x(5.5) + (9)

Further simplify:

\rightarrow P = 5.5x + 9

Option D is correct.
