Answer:

11x^2y^3 - 4xy^2

Explanation:

(4x^2y^3 - 2xy^2 - 2y) - (-7x^2y^3 + 6xy^2 - 2y)

Combine like terms

4x^2y^3 - -7x^2y^3 = 11x^2y^3
Two negative signs together makes addition!

Combine like terms

2xy^2 - 6xy^2 = -4xy^2

Combine like terms

-2y - 2y = 0
We don’t have to include the zero

Now add 11x^2y^3 with -4xy^2 together

11x^2y^3 - 4xy^2

Therefore, the answer is: 11x^2y^3 - 4xy^2
