We first have to know how to calculate the volume of a cone

V = pi(r^2)(h)/3 where r = radius & h = height

But since we’re only seeing a diameter of 6 cm in the bottom of the cone, we’ll need to divided 6 by 2

Radius = 3

Then we can start solving for the volume of the cone!

V = pi(3^2)(7)/3

V = pi(9)(7)/3

V = pi(63)/3

V = 197.82…/3

V = 65.97

The volume of the cone is approximately 66 cm

Now for the Rectangular Prism:

V = l • w • h where l = length w = width and h = height

V = 12 • 5 • 1
V = 60 • 1
V = 60

Finally add each of the volumes!

65.97 + 60 = 125.97

The volume of the object is approximately 126 cm
