How to solve x/2-y/3=1, x-y/4=4 using method of elimination​

Answer:x+y=14 .....(1)x−y=4 ......(2)On adding 1 and 2, we get,2x=18x=9Putting this value in equation 2, we get,9−y=4y=5Hence, x=9 and y=5.
