base = 16 m

Explanation:

Let base = 2x m

So, height = half its base =
(2x)/(2) = x \ m

Area = 64 m²


(1)/(2)* \ base* \ height = 64\\\\\\(1)/(2)* 2x * x = 64

x * x = 64

x * x = 8 * 8

x = 8 m

Base = 2x = 2*8 = 16 m
