for inequality 1

if we take x = 0 we get y = -4

and if we take y =0 we get x = 16

so we get 2 points (0, -4) and (16, 0) and the graph must pass thru these two.

now checking if the origin satisfies the inequality or not

take x and y = 0

0 + 0 is not greater than or equal to -16

so origin doesn't satisfy the inequality.

shade the graph on the side, of the line, opposite to where the origin is.

for inequality 2

if we take x = 0 we get y = 2

and if we take y =0 we get x = -⅔

so we get 2 points (0, 2) and (-⅔, 0) and the graph must pass thru these two.

the line should be a dotted line.

now checking if the origin satisfies the inequality or not

take x and y = 0

0 + 0 is less than 2

so origin satisfies the inequality.

shade the graph on that side of the line where the origin is.
