Sneha went to a field trip in a botanical garden. She came across many plants but was attracted by rose plants and started to count. She found that there were 45 rose plants in a row. There were 20 such rows of rose plants. How many rose plants were there in 20 rows?

Answer:

900 rose plants

Explanation:

Hi there!

What we know:

  • There are 45 rose plants in 1 row
  • There are 20 rows of rose plants

To find the number of rose plants in 20 rows, multiply 45 by 20:

45 roses × 20 rows = 900

Therefore, the are 900 rose plants in 20 rows.

I hope this helps!
