  • Mass=m=12kg
  • Force=F=84N

Acceleration be a

Apply Newton's second law

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow F=ma

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow a=(F)/(m)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow a=(84)/(12)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow a=7m/s^2

\huge\bf\underline{solution}

Mass of given body (m) = 12Kg

Force (F) = 84.0N

We have been asked to find the magnitude of of the acceleration .

\huge\bf\purple{force = mass * acceleration}

Put all the given value we get

\sf \dashrightarrow84 = 12 * acceleration \\ \\ \sf \dashrightarrow (84)/(12) = acceleration \\ \\ \sf \dashrightarrow7 {ms}^( - 2) = acceleration

So, the acceleration due to gravity on that planet is 7m/ .

So Your answer is B) 7.0m/
