Given that,

→ g(x) = x+5/4

Then g(x)=y,

→ y = x+5/4

Now we can interchange role of x and y,

→ x = y+5/4

Then use the cross multiplication,

→ 4x = y+5

→ y = 4x-5

Hence, g-¹(x) = 4x-5 is the solution.

In verse of B.g(x)=
(x+5)/(4) is:

4x-5

Answer:

Solution given:

B.g(x)=
(x+5)/(4)

let

g(x)=y

y=
(x+5)/(4)

Interchanging role of x and y

we get:

x=
(y+5)/(4)

doing crisscrossed multiplication

4x=y+5

y=4x-5

So

g-¹(x)=4x-5
