150 m at 10 m/s

350 m at 50 m/s

Explanation:

x + y = 500

x/10 + y/50 = 22

x + y = 500

5x + y = 1100

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

x + y = 500

-5x - y = -1100

-4x = -600

x = 150

y = 350
