Answer:

y = 6x + 22

Explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

y = 6x - 1 ← is in slope- intercept form

with slope m = 6

Parallel lines have equal slopes, then

y = 6x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (- 3, 4 ) into the partial equation

4 = - 18 + c ⇒ c = 4 + 18 = 22

y = 6x + 22 ← equation of parallel line
