We are given these following functions:


f(x) = 4x


g(x) = 2x - 1

g(f(-2))

First we find f when x = -2, then we find g for this value(f when x = -2). So


f(-2) = 4(-2) = -8


g(f(-2)) = g(-8) = 2(-8) - 1 = -16 - 1 = -17

Thus -17 is the answer.
