(I only did question 11 because the rest is just repetition)

Explanation:

make the denominators the same by finding the LCM (lowest common multiple)

(I apologise if I do this incorrectly, the image is very blurry)

So what I did was make the denominator a number that both 2 and 3 can multiply to. (2x3=6 and 3x2=6)

Then whatever you do to the bottom you always do to the top.

- to go from 2 to 6, multiply by 3

- do that to the numerator

- to get from 3 to 6, multiply by 2

- do that to the numerator

= 17/6

Simplify to mixed fraction
