please help me solve this problem.

Q. terms of a geometric sequence are found by the formula Tn = ar n-1 If a = 3 and r = 2 , find the 4 terms of the sequence.

3, 6, 12, 24

Explanation:

It helps if the formula is properly written.

Tn = a·r^(n-1)

Fill in the given values for a, r, and use n = 1 to 4.

T1 = 3·2^(1-1) = 3

T2 = 3·2^(2-1) = 6

T3 = 3·2^(3 -1) = 12

T4 = 3·2^(4 -1) = 24
