Answer:

y = 3/5 + 4

Explanation:

Given Coordiantes:

(0,4) - Y-intercept

(5,7) - Coordinates

To make an equation, first find the slope.

m=(rise)/(run) =(y)/(x)

m=(y_(2) -y_(1) )/(x_(2) -x_(1) )

m=(7-4)/(5-0)

m=(3)/(5)

In decimals:

m = 0.6

Now convert to point slope.

y-y_(1) =m(x-x_(1) )

y-4=(3)/(5) (x-0)

In decimals:

y-4=0.6(x-0)

Now convert to slope-intercept form.

Find the Equation of the Line:

y=mx+b

by solving for y using the Point Slope Equation.

y = 3/5 + 4
