How can i use the slope formula to find the slope between (2, -7) and (1, 6)

Answer:

To find the slope using the formula, you divide the difference of the y-coordinates of 2 points on a line by the difference of the x-coordinates of those same 2 points.

- The slope formula is m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1), or the change in the y values over the change in the x values.

change in y = 6- -7=13

change in x = 1-2 = -1
