Explanation:

point slope formula is y - y₁ = m(x - x₁) where m=slope and (x₁ ,y₁) is a point on the line.

First find the slope. From the graph we have pts A and B.

A= (-2,-1) and B is (6,5)

m= y-y₁/x-x₁ m= (5-(-1)/(6-(-2))

m= 6/8 = 3/4

Using point B for x₁ and y₁

y-5 = 3/4(x-6)
