(√3 - x)(√3 + x)

Explanation:

Use difference of two square formula:

a² - b² = (a - b)(a + b)

So a² = 3 ⇒ a = √3

and b² = x² ⇒ b = x

Therefore, 3 - x² = (√3 - x)(√3 + x)
