For one particular homeroom, the typical ratio of students absent to students present is 1 : 14. One day, students from this same homeroom miss school to compete in a math competition. On that day, there are 22 students in class and the ratio of students absent to students present is 4 : 11. How many students are absent on a typical day for this homeroom?

Answer:

i THINK 43% but im not for sure

Explanation:

14% of 50 is 7

so 50-7=43

43(percent there)+7(percent gone)=50 (number of students)

SO 43% is still there.

i hope this work for you

and SORRY if im wrong
