This is the slope-intercept form, with -4 the y-intercept and m the slope

This is slope intercept form. M represents your slope, also known as rate of change, y2-y1 / x2- x1, and triangle (delta) y / triangle (delta) x.

B is your y-int. It's the initial amount you start off with.
