Discriminant form:

ax2+bx=c=0

-2x2+6x=13=0

DISCRIMINANT:

-b+4ac

-6+4(-2)(-13)=-6+4(26)=-6+30=24

Now for the x's:

x1=
-b+√(x) /2a

x2=
-b-√(x) /2a
