=> x = 2.4

Explanation:

By using PGT

=> (5+x)² = 7²+x²

=> 5² +x² +2(5)(x) = 49+x²

=> 25 + x² + 10x = 49 +x²

=> 10x = 49-25

=> 10x = 24

=> x = 24/10

=> x = 2.4
